If you want to be married, but a full church service isn’t for you, and a registry office seems too impersonal and functional, then celebrant will fit the bill! A celebrant is also ideal for couples with different religions or cultures, who would like to devise a personalised service that acknowledges their individuality, but also helps them blend together as one.
This could be religious, semi-religious, spiritual or aethiest - with an independent celebrant, whatever you want is possible.
It could be held at home; where you first met, or in a forest clearing… there are no limits because the venue and timings are up to you!
I work with couples who legalise their union before our special day; and some who do it afterwards. Either way, I’d encourage you to regard your celebration day with me as THE big day. That’s where it all happens: the fun, the warmth, the uniqueness of it all - witnessed by the people important to you.
